"It's the pictures that got small"

If you want to know both why and how the Sage enjoys old movies (almost precisely), then check out this piece by Gerald Nachman.   Amazing!  I could have written it myself, although not so well as he.

  1. Good article. Old films painted a world that may have not been real for the viewer, but they provided world's and behaviors to which one could aspire. No film today has that power. Sad.
